Happy New Year from God Belongs in My City!

We’ve much work to do this year in unifying our churches and community around prayer.  We invite you to join us in making state-wide impact.

GBIMC Goals for 2016 Committee:

  • Serve as ambassador to unite Pastors in prayer
  • Feature non-denominational prayer events around the community
  • Attend local outreach events to spread the word about GBIMC
  • Transform a neighborhood by organizing and attending Prayer Walks around Louisville
  • Share information and seek participation of local civic leaders
  • Watch the power of prayer ripple to other communities
  • Unite and participate in the GBIMC Prayer Walk on Saturday, October 15, 2016

“Prayer is primarily a wartime walkie-talkie for the mission of the church as it advances against the powers of darkness and unbelief. It is not surprising that prayer malfunctions when we try to make it a domestic intercom to call upstairs for more comforts in the den. …Until you know that life is war, you cannot know what prayer is for: Prayer is for the accomplishment of a wartime mission.”
– John Piper
